A Fan For the Flames

My impsona and phoenix demon Ren (my OC) as kids.

Bio: Ren comes from a family of Japanese phoenix demons, hence her fire powers. The sole heiress of the main family, she was sheltered and rarely got to interact with non-royal children. One day, she got fed up with it and asked her servants to cover for her while a few bodyguards helped her sneak out and accompany her.

She tried to befriend other demon kids, but they avoided her once they recognized she was royalty. All except for one, who found her as kind as she was pretty. He approached and befriended her, despite his skeptical brother (Jonah) and protective sister (Jessie) not trusting her. She earns their trust by teaching them demon magic and weapons to protect themselves.

I choose wind magic and a fan as my weapon. I even learn how to change the color of things, turning my horns and eyes my favorite color. The two kids continue to rendezvous to teach and learn (magic and stories for me, modern and casual society, food, clothes, etc. for Ren). But mostly to enjoy each other's company throughout the years.
