Precious Bringer

This is Aziza Abayomi. While her mother was pregnant with her, Aziza was close to becoming the victim of miscarriage. In desperation not to lose her child, Aziza's mother prayed to the Egyptian/African gods and goddesses to save her child. The God who answered her prayer was Anubis, He who guides souls to the afterlife. Many witnessed Anubis saving Aziza from dying, but when she was born of Anubis's will and in His image, many believed her to be a cursed child and that her presence meant their souls would be collected by Him through her as long as she lived near them. Her mother, however was too blessed to be paranoid. Aziza was a precious gift from the gods and goddesses in the eyes of her mother and thus was named 'Aziza' which can mean 'precious'. Her family name, 'Abayomi', means 'bringer of happiness', which is what her mother brought to her and what she hopes to bring to all who come in her life that are willing to accept her.
