Geeta and Mela

Since I don't know their origins yet, here's a what-if scenario:

Mela and Geeta were classmates, but couldn't stay with each other because Mela neglected her studies for fights against people who bully them and Geeta's grades gave her the option of skipping grades.

Mela promised to try harder at avoiding fights and improve her grades so they can both graduate and stay together. But then Geeta finds out that the promise was broken. Not only was Mela held back, Geeta was offered to skip grades. Geeta, fed up with Mela not trying as hard as she could have been, doesn't want to be let down again. She basically ends things between them by choosing to skip grades while Mela is held back, causing a rift that lasted for years.

For years, they never moved on from each other and decided to get in touch with each other to catch up. While Geeta became chairwoman of the Pokemon League, Mela studied hard to become a guidance counselor for students. She mostly deals with bullying and disputes. She loves helping those who were like her and making sure that bullies change for the better.

They are both happy to see how they've grown. In more ways than one. Even after their worst fight ever and being apart from one another, 'the fire of their love never died.
