More Star with Ren. This time, as just good friends. Star's walking on her way to the Diaz house when she notices construction on a house. Ren is there, volunteering to help build. Star takes interest at first, makes herself look the part, and joins in. But when Ren and the others prefer to get their hands dirty doing the work themselves, Star tries to do the same and not use her magic. She gets bored quick but learns to love it. After months of work, they're almost finished. Then one night, vandals destroy it all so the workers will have to take too much time out of their lives to start from scratch. Ren decides to let Star use magic, not to do all the work, but to create a time-proof bubble around the site so they can build for months inside but outside only a minute passes when they leave the bubble. Also, a magic and trained security animals to scare away the vandals. A job well done!
