Bragging Rights

Saw the new Gym Leader for Scarlet/Violet: Iono, and she's a streamer/vtuber! You just know she'll get paired with Raihan, which inspired this AU:

They're real life high schoolers who love playing Pokemon (to the point where Raihan bought a Rotom case for his phone).

Raihan is on the varsity soccer team, Iono's in the arts and crafts club for her Decora Kei aesthetic and...they are rival streamers/influencers. Despite their witty sarcastic quips and witty remarks, their rivalry is a healthy. Some girls used to badmouth her for aesthetic choice and weeb nature, until Raihan defended her, telling the bullies to back off. He says only he's allowed to mess with her.

Spoiler: she overheard him and they're totally into each other. They both even have FANGS!

P.S. In this drawing they're about to show off their followers to each other to see who gained more than the other. It's one of many weekly competitions that they have with each other.
