Miorine and Suletta as witches in The Owl House.

I gave Miorine a secretary bird as her palisman because her cowlicks remind my a cockatiel's feathers, and that made me think of another white bird with crazy hair: the secretary bird, which represents protection and victory, which fits Mirorine.

I gave Suletta a red panda because of fanart of her as a tanuki, which lead to me thinking of red pandas. Red pandas symbolize gentleness, compromise and patience.

Suletta wanted to name Miorine's "Terry" because secre-'tary' bird. Miorine thought it was a stupid name, but Terry liked it, and as a representative of victory, Terry likes having things go her way and refused to accept any other name. Suletta named her palisman "Panda", which Miorine also thought was stupid.

Miorine's studies Illusion magic for her business and Plant magic for her greenhouse. She also secretly learns Bard magic despite her father trying to make her quit piano. She also practices Oracle magic in secret in hopes of taking to her mother's ghost.

Suletta studies Construction magic and Abomination magic to help make new buildings and prosthetic limbs to aid her community.

Suletta (unintentionally) ruins Miorine's attempt to run away from home to the human realm, so she makes Suletta promise to make it up to her with a favor: pretend to be Miorine's girlfriend to keep creeps from hitting on her. We'll see how long until it stops being pretend.
